what bothers me most about BA is that he's such an arrogant MF. it would be one thing if he was just an idiot and didn't realize he sucked. remember after the philly game last year (i believe)- the game ben got beat up and we looked like a junior high offense- BA went on record in the post-gazette saying something to the effect of make sure you spell my name right- A-R-I-A-N-S. since i'll take all the blame. and now that i took the blame, can we move on? made my blood boil!

i was thinking the same thing as i was watching this weekend. i think sanchez only had 13-15 pass attempts. we have 15 pass attempts in a quarter. i'm praying things change next year. i can't stand to watch another season thrown away. MT, you better get on the pony and do your job. i hope the FO doesn't do the traditionally "sign the coach to an extension with 2 years left on his contract." i would prefer they wait and see if MT mans up and follows up on what has been hollow comments. if things change, then by all means extend him.

and ron cook says ben is in the top 2 QB's in the league... hahahahaha... he has no arm, can't read blitzing schemes very well, is horrible in the red zone (how many times did he take 15+yard sacks to get out of field goal range?)... to even suggest he's in the top 2 QB's in the league causes cook to lose all his credit. that's a freakin hysterical column. in no specific order, IMO brady, peyton, brees, farve, even possibly mcnabb and rivers are all better QB's than ben. don't give me the "he has two SB rings" crap. the only thing he did to earn those rings was on that final drive to holmes. all last year our D bailed out our pathetic offense. in '05 we won the SB because ben "managed" the game just enough to give us a shot. the defense was the real hero.

and in addition that article already shows the ben is a pre-madona and would whine if BA was let go. again who's running this organization? it sure isn't tomlin. we need dan rooney to come back and smack some sense into ben before his head can't fit into heinz field.

i'm sick of people defending BA saying we had a 4000 yard passer, 1000 rusher, 2 1000 yard receivers... who care? did those records get us in the playoffs (or the endzone for that matter)? NO!! we are terrible in the red zone and on 3rd downs.

sorry to burst everyone's bubble... but those who reported above that fat ass arians was fired have no idea what their talking about. the post-gazette just reported the O line coach is out but BA is back for 2010. SAY IT ISN'T SO. what a terrible day for the black and gold! another year of ineptitude.

for all those who say BA is awesome with all the yardage our O gained this season... how about on 3rd down? how about in the red zone? our team was putrid in both instances. BA sucks! 3rd and 1... empty set or 4th and 2 sweep right with Moore... fantastic!

cliff, couldn't agree more. his ego is out of control. why do you think BA is still the OC? he's turning into the lebron of the NFL (not in a good way). the rooneys better nip this in the bud. he thinks he's bigger than the team and the franchise.

please don't let it be so! if this staff is kept intact, it's time for tomlin to go back to tampa. btw, wasn't he a secondary coach in tampa? well mikey, your secondary is awful! even though we won yesterday, it was hard to watch when we were on defense.

agreed. Tomlin needs to step it up and be the boss. seems like he's getting stepped on all over the place. although he may believe BA knows what he's doing and that's why we are seeing this monstrosity. we'll see what MT really has in the next two games and the offseason. 1st order of business should be cutting BA loose faster than the roadrunner can say "mee-meep, zip, zag!"

couldn't agree more. it's a shock the neighbors haven't called the cops on me yet- yelling at the tv when BA sends in another bone head call. our receivers routes are WAY TOO LONG. how about a quick slant? how about anything quick for that matter? you can't pick up 20+ yards on every throw- although BA must think so. our receivers (minus wallace) aren't burners. how about some 3 step drop and throws... not 10 step drop, a few shimmies, two steps to the left, three to the right... then throw the ball. come on! it's not rocket science- especially with our joke of an O-line.

our offense is going to get their asses handed to them. it's going to be ugly.at least i have the football package to watch other games during the blowout.

gonna be a sad day in the burgh. at least we won't be losing to a NFL bottom feeder this week.
