70+ offensive plays in the Green Bay game and only 19 rushing attempts.  No wonder why Big Ben had 508 yards passing. He must have had about 60 pass attempts in this game.

And I can't believe that Green Bay is #3 against the pass in the NFL and 2 overall.  We absolutely abused them.  Would have been even easier to get pass plays with the run game keeping defense off balance.

Worse than the overall balance was the situational calling.  3rd quarter with the lead and they are spreading the field and throwing the ball.  Back in the day we would have seen Bettis carry the ball 15 plays in a row and the 3rd quarter would be over in no time.  Not anymore.  He's really like Mike Martz on crack and a head coach who doesn't have enough sense to keep him in check.

Tomlin needs to step it up and be the boss. seems like he's getting stepped on all over the place. although he may believe BA knows what he's doing and that's why we are seeing this monstrosity. we'll see what MT really has in the next two games and the offseason. 1st order of business should be cutting BA loose faster than the roadrunner can say "mee-meep, zip, zag!"

At this point it seems to be their ego and stubborness standing in the way.  They hear the critisism, they see the results, but yet nothing changes even slightly. 

I also think it's Arians ego that is keeping them from going to the no huddle more often.  He would look pretty bad if the Steelers offense started piling up the points with Ben calling the plays in the no huddle.

If it were me, I'd come out with the no huddle the whole first half (or until they have a 14 point lead) and then slow things down in the second half.

They invited the Packers to a shoot out.  That makes no sense.  Tomlin said he tried the onside kick because they couldn't stop the Packers.  Then why didn't they try to slow down the game and keep their offense off the field?  Tomlin needs to watch some tape of the Cowher teams.  I did not always agree 100% with Cowher philosophies, but the results couldn't be argued.  I like a little more wide open offense, but not one that throws 40-50 times per game.  Give me 30-35 pass attempts and around 25 rushing attemps per game.
