Sure they have a good defense - it's not a GREAT defense.  But after watching the game yesterday it looked like the Cowboys had the Doomsday Defense again.  No, not Steel Curtain worthy but they looked great out there.

You're right, that's something that is really bugging me.  During the game, Tray Aikman was SO IMPRESSED with the Dallas D and how they were hanging in there with Pittsburgh.  I kept screaming at my TV saying, "It's not a great D, it's a crappy O!!!!  RUN THE BALL!!!!"

Does anyone else feel nauseous while watching the Steelers O, I sit with a 5 gal Costco bought tub of Pepto while watching these games. Its sickening. My fear is that Ben has been put on his ass so many times over the past 2 years that he's going to end up with happy feet for the rest of his career. We are operating with arguably the best defense in history, the gameplan is simple, run the ball and then run it again and then run it some more and win 3-0 if we have to. It boggles the mind that with an offensive line that cannot cannot cannot pass protect, that he is calling plays that take forever to develop. Add to that we all know Ben's going to hold the ball 2 sec longer than he should anyway. It really is tragic that our super d is going to be robbed of a superbowl because of some schmuck that should have been fired in week 3. FIRE ARIANS! hell dont even let him back in the city limits!

I think Ben's shoulder and hand are hurt a lot worse than anyone is letting on, add to this the concussion and its a recipe for disaster for our playoff matchup. I think the shoulder and hand are the reason he's been getting picked so often and why some of his balls are grossly missing their targets. Listen guys, I love Ben, but in the situation we are in now and with the stellar play of our defense, we need a quarterback that can simply manage the game and Leftwich can do that. We all know there is no way in hell that anyone is tellin Ben to play conservative and he actually listens. I say depending on the severity of the concussion, we shut Ben down for the season and let him rest up for next year when we will hopefully have some young, highly talented oline help and a new oc that that knows at the very least how to make halftime adjustments.
