Broncos | Team could move up into top 15 of draft
Fri, 27 Apr 2007 07:36:34 -0700
Jeff Legwold, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports the Denver Broncos have spoken with the Pittsburgh Steelers about trading up in the first round of the NFL Draft. The Broncos, who own the No. 21 pick, could move up to the No. 15 slot, currently held by the Steelers. The team has also spoken with the Houston Texans, who own the No. 10 overall pick in the draft.

If so, that puts the team in a better spot for one of the college LBs or a guy like Spencer.

I like that trade.. I got more trust in Beason or Spencer that Lawerence Timmons.. I dont know why.. he's just a scary pick at 15...I question his production and his qulaity to a 3-4

I'd prefer neither Beason or Timmons but if they're going to pick either, I'd prefer it be via a trade down.
Most likely, I'd expect them to pick Spencer or Joe Staley if they traded down to 1.21.

1 21 (21)
2 24 (56)
3 6 (70) From Washington
3 23 (86)
6 2 (176) from Detroit
7 23 (233)
trade down 5 spots and pick up an extra day 1 pick sounds like a winner there. That 3rd rounder at #70 looks pretty sweet!

Texans | Team to move down in draft
Fri, 27 Apr 2007 10:45:45 -0700
Neil Stratton, of Inside the League, reports that the Houston Texans, as rumored previously, will swap first-round draft picks with the Denver Broncos in this year's NFL Draft Friday, April 27, in exchange for Denver's second-round pick, No. 56 overall. With the Texans' first- and second-round picks, the team is considering four players: Utah FS Eric Weddle, Ohio State WR Anthony Gonzalez, USC WR Dwayne Jarrett and Florida S Reggie Nelson.

1.10 = 1300
1.21 = 800
round
2.24 = 340
if thats the case, Houston got ripped. at the least, that trade is worth Denver's 2.24 and 3.23

That really is a large jump in draft status for a second round pick. Shanahan must have something on Kubiak. :100%:
