Go to it.......
Ed Werder reporting the Browns are trying to move up to #1. According to him, the Raiders asked for multiple picks and Kameron Wimbley.
I'm hoping it happens......

Thanks for posting the thread Dr J.
Saw that stuff re: the Browns....if they trade Wimbley, their D took a big step back. Quite a few DE-to-LB prospects this year in the 2nd/3rd rounds. Browns should, due to picking so high, have quite a few options.
Still, none project as well as Wimbley.
Also saw elsewhere that the Browns were shopping Braylon Edwards.
For all the talk about how Detroit has drafted WR busts in the first round, how about ATL? Saw that McKay was commissioned by the owner to do whatever it takes to get CJ.
Bouchette projects we'll take Jamaal Anderson
Scott Brown (Trib) projects we'll take Lawrence Timmons
John Harris (Trib) projects we'll take Lawrence Timmons
I hope the Trib guys are wrong, at least if we're picking at 1.15.
Will say that Timmons has the pass coverage skills that Spencer or Moss wouldn't have, right now. Don't like Timmons pass rush ability v. that of Spencer or Moss. Guess any way you go, you're not going to get it all.

That's the first time i've seen Jamaal Anderson mentioned with the Steelers.
If the Browns are trying to trade up for Johnson I think they're being silly. Especially if htey give up a guy like Wimbley. Just stay at 3 and take the guy you really need. Joe Thomas.
Of course, I won't complain if they don't.......

I hope Cleveland stays at #3 and picks Quinn.
Or Peterson.
Not Joe Thomas.
ESPN saying Raiders will take Russell at No. 1, though whether it's at No. 1 or No. 3, it doesn't matter much. Also saying the Browns felt the Raiders were asking for too much. Deal looks unlikely.

Ed Werders last report said that the Raiders have not told Russell they'd take him and there is still a small chance they could trade the pick.

Kffl.com reporting Joe Thomas is the pick for Cleveland, barring a trade

Goodell seems a little nervous during this opening VA tech speech.
And Michael VIck just got booed.
Tough crowd.

Let's get this thing started!
Can anyone else feel the tension, excitment, and nervousness?
I have a feeling there is going to be a flurry of trades this year...
