Heck, two months is a long horizon. It's close enough to Halloween - Drew Bledsoe's ghost could suddenly resurface with the Bears, get hot, and whiz them right through the NFC and into the SB. It's doubtful, but in a weak conference, anything can happen. Even Vinny Greenballs could start for someone....oh....
Speaking of which, you gotta wonder if guys like Bledsoe or...Aaron Brooks are dead or something.
When Intercepteverde gets a deal and other teams are seriously considering SINGING GEFF GEORG, I find it hard to believe that those guys aren't getting serious looks too.
And, what about Kordell? He's really, really good. Plus, I think he can punt too.
