I'd heard about this blog, but just got around to visiting.
Turns out the guy is a Steeler fan (maybe you guys already know him..), and not a bad writer.

Check this out:

(Just a note, for some reason I couldn't put this in as a hyperlink.  I know I'm a little techno challenged, but...)

*Edited to say - OK, maybe it did let me post as a hyperlink....

This guy needs to get his facts straight.  And, oh yeah, after that he should learn how to add.

Quote
Ben's career stats. As you know, the numbers never lie:

2004: 14-0 regular season, 1-1 playoffs, 98.1 QB Rating, 17 TD/11 INT, 66% completion pct, 1 rush TD, 187 Passing Yards/Game.

Notes: He went 15-1 as a rookie, losing his 1st game in the AFC Championship against the dynasty of the day. I'd say a solid campaign by all accounts.

2005: 9-3 regular season, 4-0 playoffs, 98.6 QB Rating, 17 TD/9 INT, 62% completion pct, 3 rush TD, 183 Passing Yards/Game

Notes: Steelers get a low seed in part because of their 2-2 record without Roethlisberger. A Super Bowl win in year two and a career record of 24-4, 29-5 including playoffs. Not too shabby of a career so far.

First of all, Ben was 13-0 regular season his rookie year, 14-1 overall.

Second, he takes 15-1 from the first year, and 13-3 (including playoffs) his second year and gets what

So that's what Raul Mondesi is doing these days.  He's probably still getting checks from the Pirates.

So he can't add.

My point is - He's actually PRAISING Ben!!!
And he wouldn't trade him for Carson Palmer or Tony Romo.....

I'm just sayin'.....

 :shrugs:
Oh, I get that LC.  I wasn't saying anything about that.

It just annoys me when people get simple facts wrong.  Ben was 13-0 reg. season that rookie year, not 14-0.

It annoys me even more when people can't add.  If you're gonna put something out there as fact, maybe you should fact check.

Just sayin'
