Games where we do run, it's because we've waited out defenses and gotten them tired, or because we've got them committed to the pass.

Another bummer of yesterday was that the Jets stopped the run and got to Ben with mostly 7 guys in the box. They had a few blitzes, but on 1st down were playing 4-5 guys on the LOS with 2,3 LB's. Not a good sing..

C - Simmons

I don't feel good about any scenario involving Simmons as a starter.  However, do we have any other choice?

Here's a layman's analysis of our o-line.

Smith- average right tackle and a below average left tackle
Faneca-above average guard that seems to be declining
Mahan-would make a nice backup center for the brownies
Simmons-see above
Colon-has potential to be an above average guard but not a tackle

I think it's a amazing that we are 7-3 and will probably win 10-12 games with this line.
