Word is Aaron Smith has a torn tricep? Anyone have confirmation?
Also, the Marv Phillip experiment is over. Marquis Cooper singed from the Jags (coincidence, honest!).
Injuries and roster stuff seems ugly of late.

Biceps tear
, not triceps. Smith is OUT for the rest of the year.
Sucks.
Contrary to what most folks think, Eason is just not a good replacement. Smart teams are going to run right the fuck over him.
As I've been saying, time to address BOTH lines in the draft. We have scant DL depth.

Losing Smith REALLLLLLLY hurts....Cooper huh? That guy must feel ridiculous right now, first jags get him to 'pick his brain' and now we do the same?? Hahaha reality of the NFL I guess....but really, what could he tell each team?
Cooper to Jags- "They are gonna blitz"
Cooper to Steelers- "They are gonna hand the ball off."

Wonder if McBean's improved at all? Enough to get the call from the PS?

Wait a minute, the steelers can sign Steely McBean?

91 out is a HUGE loss.. maybe even worse than if we lost 98?? cuz Hokie did an Ok job a couple years back when we needed him,,
in any case, I'm always excited to watch the young'ins play and the way we've rotated DL this year i bet we'll see him on the field some..
here's to him having a solid showing, if he plays.. considering our lack of depth his development could afford us a chance to not be forced into every one of our draft choices..
I still really liked this team for a decent playoff run (i know we're not great but i think a first round win should be expected and call me crazy but for some unknown reason i just like our chances against Indy, especially if Harrison isn't 100 and i doubt he will be again this year if that is how it shakes out) up until 91 went down.. But they can restore my faith by stopping the 2-headed run game they'll face this sunday..
might be the most closely matched and toughest game the NFL will see this year..

Sloppy field conditions would favor our opponent, due to that running game.
In fact, the Jags are one of the few teams I fear on a messy Heinz field.
