Choice #1:  Steelers lose in the first round of the playoffs, but NE does not make it to the Super Bowl.

Choice #2:  Steelers lose in the AFC Championship game to NE.

If you could actualize either future, which would you make happen???

no brainer.  If the Steelers aren't going at least to the SB, doesn't matter to me which round they lose.  Not to mention getting to the AFCC and losing to those bastards for a third time might do me in.

The better question to test loyalty would be:

A.  Steelers lose early, but Pats definitely don't make it.
B.  Steelers go to AFCC in Foxboro, no guarantees.

This raises the question, is it worth giving up the relatively small chance we'd have of winning and getting to the Super Bowl to ensure those SOBs go down in history for gagging in the playoffs with the opportunity for a perfect season?

I would honestly have to consider option A.  My hatred runs that deep.

Defintely Option A...if we are not going all the way, there is no way in hell I would want those smug a-holes even going to the big show.

I wish career ending injuries to every member of the pasties...that includes Belicheat.

Yeah, I like your choices better.  This year I think I would take your "A" as well.  Which is weird.  Aren't we supposed to want our team to go as far as possible??

Also a bit surprising that no one has chosen the option of the Steelers winning two playoff games and losing in the AFCC game.

I hate the Patriots -- esp. now that I have to wonder whether they cheated in the last AFC championship we played against them.

I'm all for delicious ironies.

Pats beat the Gints to go undefeated on the regular season, Moss breaks Rice's season TD record, Brady breaks the season TD record held by Manning, blah blah blah.  But in their greed for glory, Belichimp and Brady's gambit backfires when Osi Umenyiora sacks Brady so hard that his cranium is separated from his spinal cord and he has to get one of those metal head thingies and can never play ball again.  Pats' season ends at 16-1, Brady grows fat, depressed, and suicidal, and Ben goes on to eclipse his Super Bowl wins with 5.  Brady pulls a Brad Delp as the media soon move on to Ben as the best QB ever to play the game.  Belichimp is found stabbed to death by his ex-wife, who, in her only comment to the press after being arrested, says: "I'm not here to talk about that [the murder]... I'm just here to talk about what's coming up next [the trial]."

Oh no, my friends, for in Finny's scenario, Giselle goes back with Leonardo, who then wins an Oscar, most likely for a film based partly on Brady's life.
In his acceptance speech, he lastly mentions our poor, afflicted hero, and tells him "our hearts are with you in your continued struggle.  Keep fighting the good fight."  And that's all it takes for Beardy to call his good friend, Tedy Bruschii.  Tedy comes over with his shiny Beretta and puts old Tommy out of his misery.  Tedy, in his extreme remorse, and because a second stroke has left him much like Lurch from the Addams family, then turns the gun on himself.

Belicheck, learning of this double tragedy, suffocates himself by inhaling the cut-off sleeves of his hoodie.

And that, gentlemen, is what I call a perfect trifecta.

I could get a superfecta with Moss, Harrison and Maroney, but it's late and my creativity is low....

Drink like a champion, my friend!

BTW, if being in the 40+ range has you down, I have some incredible information on age reversal.  I've been eating animal brains for a while now, and I've never felt smarter!  Also, something about raisins, Lawrence Welk, and foil hats.  I think.
