If you saw what happened to Ed Reed (who actually is effective on KR/PR) this year on returns, including his intimate meeting with Silverback, it might not be much of a return on investment. Reed might not make it to 30 doing triple duty like that. IIRC, Kenny Easley also returned punts as well. That all-world safetry evenually blew out an ankle and lost a kidney to boot. BTW, what would make TP an ace PR/KR? His talent is anticipation and short closing speed, not elusiveness.
NFL does stand for Not For Long. Troy already has enough wear and concussions without screwing around on special teams. Put Ike back on ST's if you want some speed back there.
Ikes hands though. He has trouble catching INT's thrown inbetween his numbers. They used a higher round pick on a punter. They need to do the same with a return specialist...... Of course they did that kinda already but they need to keep trying.
I think he may be decent because when he has the ball he runs like a Samoan maniac. He has decent speed and good size. Just an idea but probably not a good 1
