Winslow has undergone multiple surgeries on his right knee since he injured it in a motorcycle accident in 2005. He has had his ACL repaired, had a staph infection surgically removed and undergone microfracture surgery on his right knee.

Sack up.  Rub some dirt on it and you'll be fine.

I heard on the radio today Winslow is replacing Gates in the Pro Bowl, how does that work if he just had surgery?

In other Brownies news, Derek Anderson replaces poor baby Beardy as well, so that makes Ben the second stringer behind Peyton, which should give him more of a chance to shine than he previously would have had.

Also heard on the radio that Helen is whining for a new contract, even with three years left on his current deal.  You know, that whole motorcycle accident humbled him and made him a team player...kind of in the Randy Moss/Chad Johnson mold.

If that's true that's staggeringly arrogant, even by pro athlete standards.  If I were him, I'd be embarrassed that I had recieved any money prior to this season, considering his actual contributions on the field to that point.  One reasonable good, healthy season and he wants to tear up his rookie deal with three years left?  Un-friggin-believable.
