Not surprising. It'll get done and probably be announced Monday due to that LTBE bonus due.
I hope its like a 7 year deal, and Omar is able to give us some more cap relief by the way they structure the contract, so we don't have to worry about another Ben contract any time soon, and have some cash to try and plug some of the special team or WR holes in FA.

The deal is done. Could be announced tomorrow. $30+ million guarantees. It's in the 8-10 year range.

Steelers, Big Ben reach deal on extension

The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to a contract extension with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, FOXSports.com has learned.
An official announcement is expected later this afternoon.
