Tomlin is talking about how he expects the team to be competitive this season and he updates the injury situation of FWP, A. Smith, Ward(who had knee surgery), M. Smith( back surgery), and Clark. Assuming he speaks the truth there is good news on all fronts. FWP is running and will be fully recovered. Clark has continued to work out in Pitt and they hope he will be fully back this summer. Not exactly definitive  but better than a retirement annoucement. IMO, the Steelers need him on the field, but can he regain his early '07 form? The Smith's will be fine........ until Marvel's back acts up again. Ward will be in Pitt today to take part in some offseason drills. Hopefully all of these guys, but in particular FWP, A. Smith, and Clark, can be fully recovered to put in a full camp and be ready to go right out of the gates.

Of other note was Tomlin saying they were going for BPA in the Draft. BPA that plays OL or DL I would imagine.
