I just had a 2,400 word epic about the draft that accidentally got deleted.

About 150 or so were about Joe Flacco being a flake. Dennis Dixon is 42.5 times better than him. Dixon almost won the Heisman, Flacco fumbled snaps all throughout Senior Bowl week. I cannot freaking believe some loser from Delaware went in the first round.

The kid has LOC concerns, couldn't beat out Palko, has almost zero athleticism, hasn't taken NFL-caliber hitting, and is a fumble machine. But boy can he throw....eyeroll....j ust like Boller. Or Morelli.

Morelli, now there's a blast from the past.  Who did he play for again?  Some Big 10 team... Iowa?  Minnesota?  Can't remember now.  What's he doing these days?  Last I heard, he had a gig at the Airport Automall.

Too bad he's too dumb to learn to read sheet music.  He could take up the sax, and play "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" on the Clemente bridge in the summer, or "Jingle Bells" on the steps up the hill from the Pete in winter.  Of course, Anthony Morelli Sr. told me last week Gordon's old gig is open now.
