Wow.  Must say I am surprised at the lack of O-Line and D-line members in the group.

Hoped either Dingle or Dykes would head this way...Dykes to Ariz, no idea on Dingle yet.

Didn't somebody on the WVU D declare and forgo on some eligibility? You'd have to really dislike school to scram out early, or be fed some horribly misguided information, and go undrafted only to scramble around for the best UDFA opportunity rather than getting better and enjoying the kind of year dem wacky Mountaineers should have next season.

Or maybe they just wanted a shot at the pros with the contingency plan being is pro football wasn't their calling they could just be awarded a degree a la the Guv's daughter?

Quote
Doug Legursky C 6-1 323 Marshall

If this guy's play expedites Sean Mahan's exit from the roster he'll become an instant fan favorite and perhaps my favorite player in the league. I will commission noted eBay afficianado otismalibu to construct me a Legursky jersey from leftover Strelczyk and Burress scaps and I'll even pretend "We Are Marshall" isn't horrifically bad.

Quote
Dorien Bryant WR 5-9 175 Purdue

If you turn your head and squint long enough his name could be confused for Deion Branch. Unfortunately he's still a midget from Purdue.

This guy's a youtube sensation. Somehow. Most of the clips I came across, though, were of him running roughsod over shitty NCAA teams like Akron, Toledo, Northwestern and Notre Dame. Not showin up so much against say tOSU or Michigan.

If he can make the club it'd better be as the KR specialist. We've got too damn many. Bloom, Reid, and him are all going for the same role. One that  Mewelde Moore should already have the inside track on anyway (with his insanely cheap contract and 3rd-place-at-best role with the addition of Mendenhall to FWP).

Quote
Mike Potts QB 6-4 220 William & Mary

Tomlin's a freakin' homer here. At least Cowher only used his alma mater's QB tradition as a smokescreen.

Everyone knows this guy's cut but I hope he enjoys his summer playing out the string until Dixon gets out of the Duce-suit.

Quote
Martavius Prince DT 6-2 282 Southern Miss

Charlie Murphy told me last week Prince can ball.

And Prince Martavius sounds like someone from the WWF.

Quote
Micah Rucker WR 6-6 221 Eastern Illinois

Clearly the answer to Seven's tall-WR prayers. No doubt. Definitely not the next Danny Farmer, Malcolm Johnson, Tim Baker, Fred Gibson, Walter Young, Dallas Baker.
/sarcasm

We've had one good tall WR since Stallworth and it just happened to be Ben's best friend on the team. That's right our long lost Key Lime lovin', Super Bowl bling-totin' friend Plaxico. Thank God Limas Sweed is ready to put all that crap behind us.

Quote
Donovan Woods LB 6-2 230 Oklahoma State

He was their starting QB back when I used to follow college football. He also comes from a long line of Ok State busts from his own family.

Turns out he was moved from QB to Safety to OLB in the past couple years. So yes he finished second nationally to Pitt's Dorin Dickerson in position switches and no he wasnt the fat QB that led to all the "I'M A MAN! I'M FORTY" nonsensical-diatribe goodness

Dingle or Dykes sounds like an otismalibu production.

Wrong.  Kirk defeated Prince Martavius in Star Trek episode 2.11, "Battle on Martavia".  Look it up.

No wait, that was episode 2.13, "Dingle or Dykes".

Has any one who posts here gotten a call about playing O-line for the Steelers this coming season.  I can only guess that is where they are going to try and fill the holes...

Am I missing something?  Tell me there is a plan of some sort.

Steelers | P. Schwenke signed
Tue, 29 Apr 2008 07:59:34 -0700

Josh Buchanan, of NFLDraftBible.com, reports the Pittsburgh Steelers signed undrafted rookie free-agent OG Pat Schwenke (West Texas A&M). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

We can't even land an OL from base Tex A&M?

Whew.

Now we have that dominant O-line for which all of us have been clamoring.
