Things didn't go so well for the Freddy's team today, falling to O'Connor's by a score of 17-16 in a back-and-forth affair.

I went a disappointing 2 for 4, with a single and a double, no ribbies and no runs scored.  Flashed the leather all over the show, though, including a diving stab to my left to pick a ball off the ground that was headed down the line for extra bases.

We lost when our left fielder let the ball between his legs in the top of the ninth for a three run little league homer.

We're playing 7 this year, so it is like the world series except with beer in the dugout and chain smokers at first, short, and left.  So kinda like the world series if the Tigers make it.

Freddys was down 2 games to none heading into yesterday's clash, but we managed to pull out a 14-13 victory. It was 14-6 with two outs in the top of the ninth, unfortunately our third baseman decided to let the ball go through his legs with the bases loaded, not only once, but twice.

I was a paltry 1 for 4, with 1 run scored, lowering my season average to .417.  The important thing is that the plus-sized boulder holder is back where it belongs, hanging from the jackalope above Freddys' bar.
