Foote seems to think "first round bust" Larry Timmons can play and is almost ready to start at the mack position. Its going to be a tough fight through camp, and I can see Foote coming out of camp as the starter, with Timmons getting rotated in, and maybe by Oct, starting. That would make the starters Woodley, Timmons, Farrior, and Harrison. Not too bad really. Good mix of youth, speed, anger, and experience....We'll have to see if Timmons can really play of course, but there is still a chance he's not Zo 2.0 .

CC,

Love the fisting avatar.

Don't overlook the DP angle. Never a bad time to slide a pinky out of that glove.

Ask LC.

Well Timmons must be coming on strong if a four year starter is willing to admit it's a real possibility that he will be beaten out for the position.  There was a hint of the "he's going to start because he's a first rounder and I'm not" undertone, but even with that, it's a surprising admission from Foote.

Can only be interperted as good news IMO.
