Peter Schmuck, of The Baltimore Sun, reports the Baltimore Ravens have been mentioned by some national publications as a potential alternative for retired QB Brett Favre if the Green Bay Packers tell him to stay retired.

Look, I know Brettie had a great year last year, but I still think he gets a little too wild, and the Rattie WRs ain't jack next to those Pack receivers.

Dude... stay retired.

Um, yup.  That's some wishful thinking from the Sun beat writers.

If he comes back and GB ends up granting him an outright release, I expect him to go someplace like Chi-town where he can really stick it to the Pack.

When it's all said and done though, I expect him to remain a spectator.
