Master of the Obvious

My league that I have had for 11 years now drafted on Saturday. Here are my results....

Steven Jackson was my keeper

R1 - Tom Brady (#1 overall) <==Man that sucked to do that
R2 - T.J. Houshmandzadeh
R3 - Antonio Gates <==Early, I know, but with 22 picks coming before I picked again, I had to do it)
R4 - Santonio Holmes
R5 - Calvin Johnson
R6 - Julius Jones
R7 - Steelers D
R8 - Vince Young
R9 - Rashard Mendenhall <==Homer
R10 - Bernard Berrian
R11 - Rob Bironas
R12 - Antonio Pittman <== insurance for Jackson
R13 - Joey Galloway
R14 - Eddie Royal

So it stacks up like this:

QB - Brady, Young
RB - Jackson, Jones, Mendenhall, Pittman
WR - Houshmandzadeh, Holmes, Johnson, Berrian, Galloway, Royal
TE - Gates
K - Bironas
D - Steelers

All in all, I am pleased. I am really deep at WR, hopefully I can make a deal for a RB at some point...Especially if Galloway repeats last year's performance and Berrian shines in Minnesota. Any thoughts?

I'd say if Royal starts well, trade for a RB while value is high.  He might dip once Marshall is back.

Maybe see if you can package Gates with him for a next-to-top level TE.  Some question IMO if Gates will be 100% this year.

Good draft though...
