And according to the national media, we should all feel sorry for the Cheatriot organization and it's fans. The suckfest is amazing. Instead of Gene Upshaw patches, players will be wearing #12 patches. Also, Cassel is apparently the new Joe Montana...
New England Patriots QB Tom Brady done for the year September 7, 2008 19:40:06

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (knee) will miss the rest of the season due to a serious knee injury.
Brady, who was selected in the first three rounds of virtually every fantasy football draft this summer, is scheduled to undergo additional tests Monday, Sept. 8. However, we probably never will hear the true story on the extent of his injury because the Patriots always keep everything very close to the vest. Brady will likely just disappear for the foreseeable future.
Now, fantasy football teams need to figure out how to rebound. It is never easy replacing a player you selected early and, obviously, replacing Brady's potential contribution to your fantasy team is impossible.
The Patriots will now turn to fourth-year quarterback Matt Cassel, at least for the time being. Cassel has never started a game in his career but has seen spot duty in 15 games. After replacing Brady in Week 1, he hit 72.2 percent of his passes for 152 yards and one touchdown. He should be acquired immediately.
Let's get this straight: Cassel is not Tom Brady. Cassel, however, is now the leader of one of the league's most potent offenses. The Patriots will likely have to make some adjustments with Brady out, but Cassel is still slinging the ball to receivers Randy Moss, Wes Welker and Jabar Gaffney. Consider Cassel a middle-of-the-road No. 2 fantasy football quarterback moving forward.
The Pats will reportedly conduct workouts with free-agent quarterbacks Chris Simms and Tim Rattay for a chance to provide depth at the position. The arrival of one of them wouldn't necessarily jeopardize Cassel's job security.
Don't be surprised to see the Patriots also rely more on the ground game now to take pressure off Cassel. Running backs Laurence Maroney, Sammy Morris, Kevin Faulk and LaMont Jordan can all chip in on the ground game. Morris looked incredibly sharp in Week 1, chipping in 87 total yards, five receptions and a touchdown.
