Just lost S Sean Jones for 4-6 weeks, and S Brod Pool had a concussion week one.
That stout D is suddenly suspect! LOFL...
Steelers 51, Browns 3.

As banged up as that secondary looks, Pittsburgh should go a total 180 degrees to last week.
Have Ben whip it a minimum of 35 times; throw on 1st down 50% of the time; constant 3 WR sets; maybe even go shotgun, no-huddle hurry up once each quarter.
Then, kill 'em softly with the run when they're up 31-6.

I am a little wary of this game. The Browns can't be that bad and the Steelers that good right? Right? They haven't beaten the Steelers in 9 or so games now so they must be due. Hopefully Pitt will come prepared and I think it starts with shutting down Jamal. Make Anderson make some throws under pressure. If Ben lights it up early, which seems likely, and the Stains have to abandon their gameplan, they are pretty much doomed though, so how Cleveland starts is big for them.
We all know this team is very capable of putting the Browns away handily, but we all know they can come out flat and play catch up at the end. Lets hope for the former and another demoralizing blowout loss for the Stains.

One thing that I don't understand, is that in preseason and the 1st series or two vs Houston, in addition to several games over the last 10 years, teams come out and throw 10 and 15 yard passes like the D isn't on the field. If ole Braylon and soldier boy get in a groove, Anderson will put up 500 yards like former Bengal QB guy (can't remember his name, bald guy - Kitna).
Maybe that is just a wrinkle that Dick makes some adjustments for then it's all good. It may be a different year defensively since we actually have a couple of linebackers that can actually get some pressure on the QB.

I wouldn't say I've been *missing* it, Bob.

I think Cribbs is out for this game. He was out against the Cowgirls, IIRC.

Keys to a victory:
1. hold "baby step" Lewis to less than 50 yards rushing. I would prefer Anderson win the game with his arm. with Wood and silverback playing like demons, i dont care how good an O-line is, they will cause havoc and rattle that fucker.
2. dont give up short fields on either TOs or special teams.
the rest will work itself out for the good.

I dunno, but I'd be kinda pissed if Pittsburgh gives up 20+ to Cleveland. Sure, at the end of the day, all I really care about is the "W," but I want them to shut those fuckers
down
.
Dallas had a lot of success doing it last week and IMO, they're not as good on that side of the ball as Pittsburgh. Max points I'd like to see them allow is 13-17, tops.
Offensively, Pittsburgh should be in the mid twenties, at worst. As banged up as that secondary is, Ben should have a field day. 24-27, minimum.
Final score, 27-16.
