I got the brother covered. I highly recommend a Sony DvD Direct. You can directly pug in your camcorder, camera, or DVR and burn DVD's. No PC required. Its kinda nice to be able to burn directly off your DVR.

To record from a DVR, essentially you press play on the DVR and record on the recorder? I need to look in to that. I have concerts and a few other things I'd ke to get off my DVR. Does the recorder/burner record HD?
