Add Ben Roethlisberger to the large list of NFL quarterbacks who were injured in opening games over the weekend.
The good news for Roethlisberger is that the Steelers expect him to play Sunday night in Cleveland. Still, he has a sore shoulder, which happened when he hit the turf on a sack by Houston's Mario Williams over the weekend.
That shoulder will limit how much Roethlisberger practices on Wednesday. Roethlisberger had a big day in the opener with 13 of 14 pass completions and two touchdowns in the Steelers 38-17 victory.

meh, unless its serious i dont take these things with big ben seriously... sorry but he gets hurt every game it seems... funny he seems to only get hurt when he fucks up. dont get me wrong i love big ben but im just sayin lol. TOUGHEN UP BIG GUY!

Blah blah blah...he's always got some kind of bump or something. Fortunately this doesn't seem to be an "I nearly died" one. Here's to hoping it doesn't get any worse...c'mon Marvel, keep him safe!!!

well knock on wood, but judging from what the Brownies have thrown together for a front 7 i would hope we can keep #7 relatively untouched on sunday..
if not then the line is in pretty bad shape..

I see that Ben participated in practice today- on a limited basis, per Steelers.com
Hopefully that doesn't mean that his shoulder was so sore he couldn't finish practice; but if that was the case, I suspect we'd hear about it on the PG or other sites.

John Clayton was asked on his NFL segment today if Ben was playing. He basically laughed and said even if he was hurt, there is no way he's missing a game against Cleveland.
