Monday night game, against the hated Ravens, pre-game jager bombs and tailgate food, cold beer during the game while sitting with the best fans in all of sport inside Heinz Field?
Oh I'm ready.

You do a 40 minute spin class wearing the Newt jacket and you'll need suspenders for your size 36 vacation shorts.

Finny's bike buddy told me last week, he's not a big fan of the Newt jacket. He said it made him seasick.

Heard Mark Slup-fest and Trey Wing-nut talking today about how we're going to get "bludgeoned" by the Ravens.
Am I ready?
Oh, yeah, I'm definitely ready.
I just hope the Stillers are ready.

It's a "must not repeat the horror of the Eagles game." And yeah, being 2-2 behind the 3-0 Ravens is totally unacceptable.
Do you think the lads may be a tad miffed about being utterly embarassed last week?

Absolutely a must win. There is no way the O-Line can be as bad as it showed against the Iggles...Well maybe not.

It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife; the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sun up. Sleep tight, mates, in your quilted Chambray nightshirts.

You know how there all those little mind games you play each Sunday as the games are played? I really wanted the Eagles to beat the Cowboys, because I figured it would be unlikely they would lose 2 straight, the 2nd being a home game. Same applies this week. Tough road loss, followed by a big game at home.
Not sure what the weather forecast is for Monday, but I'm guessing rain and/or wind.

Yeah, I made a similar point over at ESPN. Something to the effect that the worst thing that could've happened to Baltimore this week is Philly embarassing the Steelers the way they did.
If Pittsburgh wins that game, they go to 3-0 by beating a team that many put in the top 3 in the league on their turf. A team that "should've" won the week before against the supposed best team in the league.
I could easily see Pittsburgh getting all high and fucking mighty in that spot, even though it
is
the Ravens on MNF. Blah, blah, blah, just beat the Eagles on their turf, blah, blah, blah...and go out and lay an egg against Balty.
Not gonna happen now. At least, I'd be very surprised if it did. And, if it
does
happen, I admit that I will think less of Tomlin.
