What kinda scares me about the Arians mea culpa, is that he is saying it for the wrong reasons. He is taking the blame so the OL doesn't have to, therefore shifting the focus off them. He is trying to shield them so they can have less distractions while preparing for Balty.
That was my reaction as well. It is also the same reasoning that Tomlin and Ben have used in some of their comments (such as Tomlin's post draft comments). In many circumstances that is fine, but as a fan its frustrating to not know what, if anything, the team is doing to get that front 5 playing better.
