Twice a year or so I lower myself to clicking on a Simmons article, and twice a year I wonder why the hell I did that.  The latest semiannual offering - his power rankings.  The usual littering of stupid movie references among rankings that are supposed to have some humor mixed in.  Having his wife chime in with her picks along with a lovely story about plans for the final days for her terminally ill dog was a special treat.  And of course, the blatant homerism.  Patsies, with no QB and after an embarrassing shellacking courtesy of the improved but still ordinary Dolphins, rank #11.  The Steelers didn't look great, I'll admit, but were on the road against the team that just put up 37 on the Cowboys, and are ranked #2 by the dillweed himself.  So, allowing 15 points and being within one score until the end apparently gets you a #16.

And by the way, where to the Dolphins, deliverers of the aforementioned royal ass reaming, rank in his illustrious poll?  That would be 26.
