I'm sure there's a way if you know how to diddle with animated gifs but it's not something in the theme setup. 

Did notice the following in the top user area:  "Hey, <user>, you have X messages, Y are new. "  So maybe the message button was left off on purpose, I don't know.

Same for me. If I go into a certain section, then the Mark Read will work.

It's easy to click that when I leave the page, so I can see what's new when I return. I know there's usually a See All New Posts, but there are some sections I never venture into.

With the main theme, I am getting this page when I click on "Mark All Messages As Read"

I've tried a little fix to change the referring URL from "maximumgrilledsteeler s.com" to "www.maximumgrilledste elers.com" which was suggested as a fix on the TinyPortal support site.

I still never get the error to generate but could see it for you guys in the error log.

Let me know if that changes anything for y'all.

I changed it back b/c adding the www was keeping the logout from working.  Weird.  I'll check for more ideas on the support board.
