Obviously, I'm not a gifted graphics designer.  But I kinda sorta like it.  It was pointed out that having Maximum Grilled Steelers in both the logo and the title bar was a bit much.  I could not deny it.

Jonzr, we've known each other for what?  Almost ten years now?  We're friends, and so I know you won't be offended when I tell you that the new logo looks like "MGS" stands for "Monumentally Gay, Sir".  Seriously.  I'm afraid to click on it for fear it might play a Frankie Goes to Hollywood song.  Make the letters block (or stencil) is my advice.  Or better yet, make the banner (logo) say "Maximum Grilled Steelers", and the title bar "MGS", both in block lettering.

No offense taken you filthy bastard.  Yeah, I need to get the logo scene under control.  Didn't think about the initials in the title bar with the full name up top.  May try that one next.  There's this really nice shade of pink I've been considering ...

I know nothing about this whole innerweb thingy, so this could be a stupid question, but is there a reason we can't use the old banner?

Other than it was made to fit in with the old site's background, no.  I'll give it a shot and see what it looks like.

Well, the new logo doesn't look great (black on white, like most of otis' video collection) but it does look like home.  Did kluisi design that?

You're right, it does look a little more like home.  So it's either that or the MGS letters with the title bar which was removed.

BTW, is there a skin that is black or dark gray?  The background color, I mean, what runs around the borders.

Try the Black14 skin in the skin picker on the front page, I added the logo to it as well.

There's now a copy of the light base theme modified to have a black background.  It's Steelers Dark.  Give that a spin and see how it works for ya.
