Off-week comes at a most opportune time.

Balty gets blasted back to reality.

Cincy loses--again.

Denver goes down.

NE gets blasted.

Not bad for a Sun. afternoon when the Steelers didn't even play.

Hoping for a smack down of the stains tonight by the g-men.  That would complete the trifecta.

IMO we only need 4 more wins this year to take the division.

WOW!  That's kind of crazy, but may be true.  I actually think we need at least 5.  Balty still makes me nervous, just because they have enough D and enough of a rushing attack to give other teams fits.  But they will probably fade as their schedule gets tougher.

I think it'll be tough to beat the Chargers, but I feel much better playing them here than out in SD.

Last I checked, SD is a game back in that division and down a tie break.  Lots of football to be played, and we all agree SD has more paper talent than Denver, but still... they are coached by Norvacious Turner.

So projecting the scenario in which we finish out 5-6 (!!), we'd still get a home game against the wild card Chargers, then have to travel to Denver (or Ten or... Buffalo?).  @Ten is the scariest scenario here.

All we have to do is win the remaining 4 divisional games.  No way Balty gets 8 wins then.  Even if they did, we'd have both the first and second tie breaker.

Even if we split the series with Balty and both went 5-1 in the division, All we have to do is have a better record with common opponents- which we should be able to do.

So much for the trifecta.  Leave it to the Giants to lay an egg.

Damn!  I forgot about the game.  WHOAH!  35-14!?  3 INTs for a Manning!?

HA!  Looks like that dumbface-ism finally seeped further into his brain.

Can't believe the Giants let that one happen.  I still think that's a Brown mirage.
