Whizenhunt snatched possible defeat from the jaws of victory.  Dallas had a 50+ yard attempt to tie the game with 4 secs left.  They kicked it and it was blocked.  AZ victory!  But wait ...

Whizzer had called the old late timeout and was granted it.  No play.  Dallas made the next kick.  Tie game.  OT.  Dallas wins the coin toss.

One of these days coaches are going to realize that this strategy is stupid.   Anyways, the boys don't have much slack... a couple more losses and they are fighting for a wildcard as the NFC seems fairly strong this year.  The wildcards could really be anyone from the NFC East or South.

Special Teams Players of the Week

Sean Morey, WR, Arizona. One of the best special-teamers of this era of NFL history -- he's no Steve Tasker, but he's the closest to Tasker of anyone playing today -- Morey was the decisive figure in the Cards' 30-24 overtime upset of Dallas. After a failed first drive of overtime, Dallas set up to punt, and Morey broke through so fast that he blocked the ball before it got off punter Mat McBriar's foot. The ball was returned for the winning touchdown by an opportunistic Monty Beisel.
