According to the PG, stepped in a hole in practice, and might not make it against the Bungles...

WTF?  Are the practicing in a cow pasture?  Good thing he didn't slip in a patty.

This is a big problem if this injury nags him the rest of the year. Doubt it hurts much against the Bungals, but this is definitely not good.

How's that for insight.   Grin

This probaby goes against the norm, but with Mewelde seemingly getting 10+ yards a touch, I was not looking forward to diminished playing time for him.

Parker won't play in Sunday's Steelers game
Friday, October 17, 2008
By Gerry Dulac, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Steelers Pro Bowl running back Willie Parker, who was hoping to return from a two-game absence because of a knee injury, did not practice today and will not play Sunday in Cincinnati.

Parker is expected to be joined on the sidelines by left tackle Marvel Smith, who has not praciced all week because of back spasms, and Pro Bowl nose tackle Casey Hampton, who has missed the past two games with a groin injury.

Hampton practiced on a limited basis today, but he is expected to sit out another week and be replaced by Chris Hoke. Smith will be replaced in the starting lineup by Max Starks, who started four games at left tackle last season when Smith was injured.

More details in tomorrow's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

And all because he stepped in a hole at practice.  lol... Did the same crew do the practice field that did the turf during the Miami game?

This is exactly what happens when you leave a-holes on the field.
