I wouldn't say I've been *missing* it, Bob.

I'm sure he'll probably be promoted to the NFL, he'd fit right in with the Hochulis and Lucketts of the world.

Now if this guy did that to Parker or Moore, then Harrison would have a point about a ref being on the take or having money on the game. That was blatantly obvious.

Carolina and Clemp-son are both a train wreck. They can't even juke the ref!

I saw it when it happened, thought he couldn't get out of the way and was protecting himself. However, I've seen it several times since then. The ref actually moves into the way, looking at the QB. It wasn't like he was watching the line for holding and drifted into the play. Sized him up, stepped in, and drilled him.
I'm a Clemson guy and thought that was pretty bad.
I heard the SEC reviewed it and thought it was no big deal. Guaranteed if that's reversed, and LSU (and the SEC) missed out on a possible BCS bowl opportunity because of it, that it would be a huge deal.

Mike and Mike talked about it this morning. I guess the SEC said the Umpire was in the correct position. Golic made the comment that he was in proper position, head up looking at the target. He should have wrapped up though!!!!!
They said that Umpire was a former LB somewhere. He must have been having a flashback to his playing days, and couldn't resist.

You've seen the commercial where the ref, after consulting with the guys in the bar, decides to prolong the game, first by blowing the review call, then tripping the guy going down the sidlines? This clip could have been used on that commercial, and people would think it was made up. It was that blatant IMO.

Guy used to be an LB for Kentucky--a team South Carolina beat a couple weeks ago. Hmmmm...
