So, Private Winslow was a little too public with his comments? 

Another in a line of poor top of the first round picks for the Brownstains.  Sure, he's no Tim "Sofa King" Couch  type of bust but at the top of the draft you need more than mediocre results.  And has this guy played in even half of the games since being drafted?

I think Winslow's got talent, but he didn't "revolutionize the tight end position" as promised.  Of course, didn't we hear that about Vernon Davis, and any number of other draft candidates?  Hell, I would say that Heath Miller has been an overall better TE than Soldier.  In our system, he may not put up as many yards, but he's always clutch, rarely injured, and blocks pretty well. 

All that aside, Winslow's got a point.  He may be a dick, but the Browns and their issues with players getting staph is almost ridiculous right now.  If Goodell wants to promote all his happy horshit about player safety, he really needs to look at medical care league-wide.  When Clark had his issues with the gall bladder and spleen issues, he had concerns about being taken seriously, and I would imagine the Pittsburgh staff is one of the best in the league.

Because he dared to say that there's a chronic medical problem with injured Browns' players?  Holy fucking sheepshit, but it is turning into a pansy league.  Pretty soon teams will be fining players for not signing Happy Fucking Sunshine after a loss and Goodell will be suspending guys who play too rough.

My guess is that the issue is much more serious than just his recent comments.  A la Plax being suspended for missing time AND the 40 other times he was fined for being late.  I'm sure Helen has bitched and moaned about everything since the day he arrived in Stainville, and his public comments are just the icing on the cake.

However, it is ridiculous that they can't even clorox out a room somewhere in Cleveland where the Browns can avoid staph.  Run that load of towels a second time, kids!

I live in the Browns viewing area, so I get to watch them basically weekly. Winslow comes out of the game on running downs and Aaron Shea comes in. Maybe that's some kind of Rob Chudzinski special package bullshit, but I take it as the simple fact that the Hellen can't (or won't) block.

This seems like a good time to bring up the fact that they traded a 2nd round pick to move up (1 spot!) to pick this clown.
