Why can't we just get rid of daylight savings time? Isn't it an antiquated concept?
How many hours of daylight did y'all save?

I think we should give up the idea of Standard Time. That would be keen.

It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife; the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sun up. Sleep tight, mates, in your quilted Chambray nightshirts.

Losing sleep = sucks.
Gaining sleep = rules.
My simple solution is to just turn back the clocks spring and fall. Sure, we'd get to a point where day is night and night is day, but who gives a fuck.
I like the extra sleep.

I do like it being light later in the summer. Here in the Rocky mountains, in the summer, it gets dark about an hour earlier than it does when we are visiting Ohio. Here is around 9:00 and there it is more like 10:00. If we didn't have DST, it woud be more like 8:00, and I would be riding my bike and cutting grass in the dark.
An article on MSN said there were fewer heart attacks in the 2 or 3 days after we "fall back" and increased hear attacks when we "spring forward". Seems like some would want the added benefit of going to DST in the Spring for their dead pools!!!!!

Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately.
I wouldn't say I've been *missing* it, Bob.

I'm wit you, BV. I'd much rather have the extra light in the afternoon than in the morning. In the Fall/Winter, I hate not being able to do anything outside when I get home from werk because it's pitch MF'in black out at 5pm.
