My wife and I both voted for Obama. So, far as I know, it's 2-0.

So far it's zero. But I've heard a few neighbors say they wouldn't vote for any n*s. These are (allegedly) educated and average middle-class people.

Wait... he's
black
?!?
Fuck. And here I thought he was just some Arab sleeper candidate waiting to spring socialism and terrorism at home. Crap, if he's black, maybe I voted for the wrong guy.
Mrs. F is a lifelong R, and has never voted D for prez. She likes Obama, but is voting McCain due to the abortion issue. We agree to disagree.

I heard that McCain can't even recall the number of abortions he's had.
And everyone knows abortion is wrong.
You just keep pumping them out until you have enough for an infield and one waterhead alternate.

Good god, if Obama carries Florid, this election is over. Early on, the only election that felt like this is Ronnie-Mondale.

Voted this afternoon. Took about 10mins, as it was dead at the local poll by 4pm. Probably picked up after that.
Too many g-damn bond issues in my district. I voted against most as it's a shitty time to be asking to spend more money that the city doesn't have. It's a kick to the nuts for the arts but many bond issues were asking for $4M+.
I did vote for slots. I'm not a gambler and never will play slots but alot of Maryland gamblers go to neighboring states to play, taking revenue away from this state.
I didn't pay much attention to the Green Party this year. Don't know their candidate this year. Did the Greens initiate the split from Nader? Saw he was on the Independent tix. Not a good year for the Greens.

We only had one bond issue - to rebuild Parkland Hospital. That's where the majority of those who can't afford insurance go for treatment. Forty-some years ago that's where you went if you were a president with a head wound.
Whoah, Nelly! Check out the horse-face on that correspondent on CNN - remote in AZ. Wow. Puts Sarah Jessica Parker and Sheryl Crow to shame.

I used to be the other way about it. In fact, that's the primary reason I voted for Clinton in '92. I understand her reasoning, as it's a hugely volatile issue, but one that I see as miniscule in comparison to the rest.

McCain gave a nice concession speech. I figured he would though.

Yes, he did. He reminded me of why I liked him so much in 2004. If it had been that man that had run for President, I wouldn't have been so against him.
