That's bullshit.  They didn't even get the benefit of the fumble 'cause the ref blew the whistle so damn fast.  Maybe the NFL should stop keeping a stat for sacks.

This is effing crazy! Are you serious? He made a freaking tackle. Why are these players getting fined for things that didn't even get flagged? That fuck Goodell was at the game too. Troy is sounding spot on. A lot of old school players couldn't afford to play in this league.

This shit is going to lead to players really letting up and not completely securing QBs (especially bigger and stronger ones) and turning plays that should be sacks into scrambles and 50 yard bombs.

This league hates defense. They want every game to be 42-35.

Whoa.  Easy there.

As to the prevalency of fines, I...I...don't know what to say.  The Tuck fine.  This Woodley fine.  Pretty much all of Hines' fines.  There are others that I can't think of right now.  It's really out of control.  It used to be players were occasionally fined.  Now, there are multiple "infractions" every week.  It's nuts.  Someone's petty cash stash is obviously running low.  That, or someone's got a nasty drug habit they need to fund.

Whoa.  Easy there.

If they keep dishing out fines for ummm.....tackling the QB, it's going to get to that point.

I've seen enough to convince me.

Campbell is 6'5" 233, they do not get any bigger.  I'm not sure what the league expects the guy to do?

I guess Woodley was suppose to gently lay him down on the field, place a pillow under his head and tell him everything is going to be fine.

It's becoming a joke.

Not sure what you mean here... Soccer is much more physical than the technical rules allow, not less physical. Especially European football.
