It's an away game and you're on the visitor's side, right behind the boys.

I'd vote for the seats higher up. You'll prolly not get to talk to any of the players (unless you get there early and can stand along the rail) but your sightlines for the game will be better.

I voted front row. Figure either row, sightlines would be pretty close. But front row, you can talk to/heckle/etc.

Thanks for voting guys. A friend was asking and I'd never sat that low before and didn't really know how to answer. Too bad more the 2 couldn't be bothered to vote.

My season tix are in 507 and I wouldn't trade them in for anything. Not too high up, but I'm not sitting on Tomlin's shoulder's.
People automatically assume that the closer the better. Hey, if you want to stare at Anthony Madison's ass for four quarters straight, get the close up seats. If you want to see a play develope and are also able to make out the players, take the low-mid 500's.
Just my opinion. I have no complaints and enjoy every home game.

From my limited game attending experience, my preference is 1st row of 2nd level anywhere between the 30's. Between the 40's would be perfect, but I'm trying not to be too picky.

When I saw Steelers/Giants in '04 at the Meadowlands, we had front row seats pretty much on the goalline. Somebody (can't remember who...) caught a nice fade TD right in front of us.
It was nice for pre and post-game stuff (i.e. being up close to players/coaches coming/going to the locker room; talkin' back and forth with them in passing as they seem to go out of their way to acknowledge Steeler fans coming out on the road; etc.), but during the game, you miss a lot. It was even worse for us because we were down low
and
we were on a far end so any action on the other side of the 50 was basically seen on the Jumbotron.
Maybe being low and closer to the 50 is better?
I think I agree with BV and Penz that being back and up a little might be better, but WTF do I know. You pay a premium for those close seats that isn't really worth it, IMO. Maybe if Pittsburgh had cheerleaders...(*smirk*)
IIRC, those tix we had at Giants Stadium were somewhere in the neighborhood of 250 big ones a pop. Looking back, it was nice, but way overpriced. Now, those same seats gotta be 300+, at least, which is even crazier. I'd rather pocket that money and I'm about halfway to a new HD LCD.
