Between the empty numbers that douche bag and a-rod post year after year the Yanks have sealed their no-more-WS-winning fate.

As it currently stands, even after all of their recent moves, I believe their payroll is still about 20 million less than it was last year.  They purged about 80 million this offseason.

They have the top 4 highest paid players in baseball now I think.

And I mean Tex is a great talent, but he's really offsetting the loss of Giambi and Abreu, so it's going to be a wash.

Sabathia, at that weight, is due for injuries. Plus the Brewers threw him last year until his arm fell off. Burnett is also an injury waiting to happen.

Whatever though, I guess they can take those kind of gambles if they have the money to spend.
