Steelers | Clark's shoulder pops out in Week 16
Mon, 22 Dec 2008 11:31:22 -0800

Scott Brown, of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, reports Pittsburgh Steelers FS Ryan Clark's (shoulder) right shoulder popped out of the socket after making a tackle in the team's Week 16 game. He separated the shoulder earlier in the season. He underwent X-rays and left the locker room with his arm in a sling. He said he will be fine.

Ouch! I wonder what it felt like when they popped it back in?

Ever see Friday Night Lights?

BTW, I'm assuming he will not be in uniform on Sun.

Ouch! I wonder what it felt like when they popped it back in?

I have a friend who's shoulder used to do that on a regular basis, especially when he played rugby.
It hurts like hell initially, but once it's back in, it's not that big a deal.

It's when it keeps popping in and out with little provocation that they have to do surgery to fix it.

Seriously, as long as you don't tear the muscles or ligaments, it's not a major injury.

Watching Clark escorted off the field with some trainer gingerly holding his arm, I thought he was done for the year.

And you know that trainer yanked it back into place as soon as he got out of camera range.

Ryan Clark is the Martin Riggs of the Steelers.  He also eats babies for breakfast. bow

That's nothing. Mel Gibson can separate his shoulder AT WILL to get out of straight jackets underwater.

Alright, we'll call it a draw.
