The 212 is running a replay of the Chargers/Steelers game earlier this year and I gotta say, other than putting it in the GD EZ, the team looked pretty damn good.  They controlled the clock; the Gashes did a decent job, overall; Ben was very accurate (I'd take that performance this Sunday and not even think twice); the running game was pretty effective considering the conditions; and, the defense was their normal selves.

Pittsburgh let them hang around, IMO.  Can't happen this week.  Take 'em out behind the woodshed and lay that beatdown!



Oh, and Harrison displayed better hands than Taylor and most of the Steeler WRs on that one pick.  Solid.

I think this is going to be a blowout and not even close.  Similar to the Cleveland game in 94'.   The Chargers are banged up, travelling east, playing in very cold, and look for some new stuff on both the Steelers O and D.  The Chargers have had to let it all hang out in the last 5 weeks...  I say 27-7 the final.

Although the Chargers ranked 31st in pass defense during the regular season, Antonio Cromartie and Quentin Jammer are regarded as two of the top corners in the AFC. The tandem has the ability to shut down any receiver combination with their physical play. Safety Eric Weddle leads the San Diego in tackles and shows an uncanny knack for being around the ball. The Steelers counter with Troy Polamalu, who made seven interceptions while patrolling the middle of the field. Ike Taylor, Bryant McFadden, William Gay and DeShea Townsend all make contributions as ball hawks in Pittsburgh's complex zone blitz scheme.
