It's a guilty pleasure.  The show jumps the shark about every other episode but it's still fun.  Anyone gonna watch?

My wife and daughter are eagerly awaiting American Idol.  Yuck.

Double yuck on AI.  24?  Eh.  My guilty pleasure is that the new Knight Rider is back after a holiday break.  Nowhere near the original but it does have some nice nostalgic elements.

I've never checked out the new one.  Heard that Hasselhoff is the voice of KIT?

LOVE 24! Watched it last night, and Bauer is just simply a bad ass. The only way to watch the show though is on DVD, hate waiting the week to watch it again....Even though another 2 hours are on tonight.

It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife; the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sun up. Sleep tight, mates, in your quilted Chambray nightshirts.

Hey, is there any chance they show a replay of last night's episode?  Anyone know when there might be a re-showing?  Don't want to get behind at the start of the season!

 iagree iagree

Love the show, didn't get into until last year or so. I was luckily enough to have a friend with all the seasons on DVD. Watched them all in the course of about 5 months. Can't imagine watching it on TV, and having to wait a week. I would seriously watch 4 to 5 episodes at a time. Other then Family Guy it's the only show that I actually follow.

I may be wrong, but didn't they release episodes on DVD every couple of weeks for season 6? If that's the case for 7, that's the route I'm taking.

For those of you who missed it, here's the recap:

*EXPLOSION* MISTER PRESIDENT GET DOWN!!!  *EXPLOSION* NOOOOOOOO!!!!  *EXPLOSION* THEY ARE TRYING TO FRAME ME!!!!!  *EXPLOSION*

"You're gonna tell me everything you know about the plot..."

"I am not telling you anything!"

"Jack, you can't do that!  We have procedures we have to follow!"

"There's not enough time to play by the rules!  Now start talking..."

[*Crack... splat... drip...  "Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!"...BAFF*]

"All right, all right...  the bomb is in the briefcase the president is carrying... and there are only 6 minutes left..."

[*POW*]

"Oh my God, Jack, we have to contact the president!"

"There isn't time for that... I need to shoot someone... NOW!"

[*BLAAAAM!*]

"What the FUCK, Jack...  Why did you shoot me instead of Ibrahim?!?"

"Because I know you're working for the other side... How else could they have gotten that information?"

"Ummm... Maybe Ibrahim got it off the dead guy?!?"

"Oh... oh yeah... Got a point there.  Sorry."

"Don't mention it."

[*Tick... TICK... Tick... TICK*]

[Cut to split screen of Jack looking very serious, and the president carrying a briefcase.  Screen divides again, with new bottom half image of terrorists putting bombs in baby bottles.  Jack pic changes over to secret service agent watching president get on Air Force One.  President pic switches to closeup of face.  Cut to commercial for Viagra.]

Good stuff Finny!

Not sure if any of you old farts get into South Park, but they did a wonderful parody of 24.

When does the new season of M*A*S*H start?

The local new affiliate had a "where are they now" type of thing for a few classic shows, one of which was MASH.  Pretty much everyone in the show is now between 70 and 80 years old.  Colonel Potter is 97 freaking years old.  Jamie Farr looks pretty good at 75.  The guy that played Henry Blake and the guy that played Frank Burns are dead from cancer or cancer type of complications if I remember correctly

Yeah, but how did they look?  Better or worse than Colonel Potter?  Shocked

I know the plots have a recurring theme, but I still enjoyed it.
