Slideshow here.

Fucking amazing, man.

Reading some of the stories of those onboard gives me chills.  Somebody, somewhere was watching out for these people.

Think it might be a good time for "Sully" to sitdown with his superior and reassess that year end evaluation he had.  Mad props to him.

Amazing, and truly heroic.  This is a good reminder that there ARE more important things than what happens Sun. night.  It won't make me any less fanatical, but still, it adds perspective to the mix.

Not one casualty either. Amazing job by the pilot.

Its absolutely incredible that everyone survived. That pilot is a hero in every sense of the word. Give him a mad bonus and a nice vacation.

As a frequent flier who flies into LGA a bunch, I know exactly that runway and take off route. Scary. Must have been coming down like a rock to not nave been able to make it to Newark.

We can either thank isostatic equilibrium for the passengers not drowning or Ted Striker for bringing the plane down safely.
