So I caught the last 15 minutes or so of NFL Networks "America's Game" that featured the 75 Steelers.
I was struck by how much that team resembles this team.  Not a champion looking to repeat, but a bunch of hard-nosed guys looking to win again.  No one star, just a bunch of hard-hitting, balls to the wall players.

It made me happy.  And optimistic.

The wife got me the box set of America's Game for Christmas last year, and I have watched every one of them multiple times. It's really well put together, isn't it? Fascinating stuff. The difference between the '75 version and this team is that '75 had better lines and corners, but this year's opponent isn't as ballanced as those Cowboys were, so that should help.

I caught that too, it was good to see a game so fresh were refs didnt completly control games. not to mention the performance Johnny Stallworth put on vs. Cowboys after that decapitation vs. the raiders.
