Secretly, is Cowher rooting for a Steelers' loss?

Just wondering if you guys might think that it drives Cowher nuts that Tomlin might win a Super Bowl in his second year?

No, I don't think so at all.  Had Cowher never won one and been fired, maybe.  But he got his ring and left on his own.  Can't imagine there's any jealousy or resentment.

If so, he would have taken the Cleveland job.  Then again, he's not an idiot.

Cowher can always say, "If I'd had Ben earlier in my career, I might have won a couple of Super Bowls."  And if he says/thinks this, he may well be right.  I have never thought that Cowher got enough credit for winning division titles and going to the playoffs with the likes of Bubby, Neil, Mike, Kordell, and Tommy.  Not exactly a list that strikes fear into the hearts of a secondary!

Now that you mention it that does sound familiar.  Kinda cold.  And it doesn't say much for his evaluation skills.
