Sweed

Was on with one of the morning drive crews here in NY.
Nothing out of the ordinary. The usual pained, canned responses that a player recites to himself in front of his bathroom mirror.
"If Hines can't play, I'll be ready to go because that's what he have to do, be ready to go. I expect Hines to be ready to go because he's a competitor and he's been doin' it for 10 years, so I expect him to go. But, if he can't go, I'll be ready to go."
*sigh*
When questioned about his injury on that dropped pass, he shockingly responded that the "ground was hard, man!" or something to that effect.
*eye roll*

Glen Quagmire: WHOA! Transvestite! Back off! Wait a sec, pre-op or post-op?
Transvetite: Pre-op.

I wonder if he sits there in the dark, whispering, "Limas Sweed, Super Bowl MVP." Kinda like "Wiley Coyote, Super Genius."

Were you expecting him to say he hurt his mangina?

He is pretty young, so I don't expect him to be "well spoken".

Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately.
I wouldn't say I've been *missing* it, Bob.

I'm telling you guys, he's getting close...
Sweed + redemption + XLIII = TD!
Third quarter, bomb from Ben, breaks this game wide open a la FWP's run in XL.

I was just expecting a better excuse, at least. It's not like he didn't see that question coming.
"I dove and rolled up/landed on my wrist. It went numb for a bit. Couldn't feel my fingers. Thought it might've been broken."
Saying the ground was hard was basically an admission that he was fakin' it.

Not if he does any high-fivin' afterward...
I'm gonna buck the trend here and suggest that MAYBE he really did knock the wind out of him when he landed...perhaps the ball got wedged between his gut and the ground and he fell on it.
Oh, wait...the ball...nevermind...

Or, he may be unusually endowed, and may have rammed his cup where it hurts....I mean, he DID land flat on his pelvis.
