I locked that baby up at 8AM Monday after the AFC Championship game. No way was I going to hear the alarm clock @ 6:00!

I want to but wifey said she would be very "disappointed" if I have to call in sick on Monday. The worst part is I don't hear the alarm at 6 a.m. I hear it at 4:15 a.m. Oh well for me I hope it is a happy, happy, day.

I have to work.
Mrs BV has an unusual situation at work this year, no deployments (IT chickie) so she has multiple week long outings planned for later this year and I have to save my days.
I'm going to a party at someone's house so I don't get too hammered or out of control drunk.

I took 8 hrs of vacation rolled over from last year. Not planning to get crazy out of control drunk or anything. I just want to enjoy the moment and not hear that damn alarm the next day. But then again, maybe I'll go rioting and looting down on the south side after the game. Who knows.

Goin in. My lesson plans will be determined by the game's outcome. Win: watch Super Bowl highlights. Lose: Worst quiz they've ever seen!

Let's just say I didn't make it in today. Turns out to be sick time instead of vacation which is fine by me.

I took yesterday as did all my family. I figured if things went poorly I wouldn't want to deal with students. Since things went well, I didn't want to have to get to bed and not sleep anyway.

I was off yesterday and should have taken the previous Steelers Super Bowl Monday off, as my boss (who was a friend as well) sent me home (in a cool way) for being hung over and reaking of alcohol.
