Why is no one talking all the free agency upgrades we could be gettign!??

Larry Johnson wants out of KC
Tony Gonzaloaes wants out of KC
Amani toooomer just got cut

Just think about the formulation:

Shootgun with Johnson on one side, FWP on the other... Have two tightends, Miller and Gonzaloes on the left, Spaeth on the right.  Hines spread wide to the right, Holmes spread wide to the left... Tooomer in the left slot and Washington in the right slot.  Direct snap to either RB or two Ben.  All kinds of reverse potential to!!

On ones could possible have the defensive peoples to even try to defense this!!!! No need to improve the line, line improvements are boring.  We need more weapens!!!

We'd crush the scoring record and probably go 20 in 0.   WHy doesn't the office ever spend money like it should??

I think you just made BA's head get Brinkered.
We would need Mularkey back to pull off something like this.
So that leaves only 1 lineman, presumably the center cuz who else is gonna snap the ball?

And you could get the best center on the market 'cause think of all the money you'd save not paying the other linemen!  Man, this could work ... it's pure genius.  You get all the non-scoring players (linemen) off the field and there nothing left to do but score, baby!

Yuck!  I expect lots of utility players to be resigned or brough in as FAs... Mewelde Moore, K. Fox, Patrick Baily types.

We may go after an O or D lineman, but I'm not sure.

So that's a formation consisting of:

3 TE
2 WR
2 RB
1 QB

so the only ones block be will be what? a sup par center and 2 sup par guards? great googly moogly Big Ben is going to need to some more health insurance!

You have the center to block and snap the ball!   Who needs all those slow linemen clogging up the works!?

TEs can block, so it's really replacing all the boring, pointless line positions (except the center) with something of value.   Sometimes they can release and catch... or just block.

Of course we'd have to come up with a name for this new offense.

May I suggest the Wildbone Wishcat.

You know, at first I laughed at this formation, but when you guys asked who was going to block, I realized this guys is a genius.

The currently line doesn't block anyone, might as well put someone out there that can catch!

In all seriousness, Toomer is a guy I'd be interested in if Nate Dub walks.  He's got a ton of mileage so I doubt he command the top tier strategy, and as a receiving threat, he's somewhere between Ward-as-possession and Holmes-as-downfield kinda guy.
