I was interested to see that several members of the board were NBA, more specifically, Laker fans.  I did not know that a Steeler fan could be a huge fan of the NBA.  Not taking a shot at them, but Pittsburgh does not have a team.  So I was curious what others thought.

In the 70s, I lived for NHL hockey. Hey, it's Canada - it's religion. Bernie Parent was God and I worshiped the Flyers. But CBC only showed the Habs and Leafs in the regular season, so I had to watch them. Until we got Saturday afternoon games on NBC. American teams! Don't watch much anymore. The move from ESPN to Versus was a killer.

In the late 70s to late 80s, was a big NBA fan. Can't really stomach it anymore, mostly due to how the game is officiated and watching one guy operate while four stand around.

Might watch a Gophers football game when they're one, maybe some post season baseball. Gotta watch March Madness.

NHL for sure. Especially the Stanley Cup playoffs. Nothing like watching two teams play each other in a 7 games series in a damn physical sport with so much depending on every bounce of the puck. Those guys have the fucking hate each other by the end of each series.

I also suffer through the Pirates, although I've about given up on them. Used to go to several games a year now I go to maybe one. I wouldn't shell out money for a puke sandwich and that's about what Pirates baseball has become.
