I'm not sure the organization would use a "family matter" in order to camoulflage some type of trade.  Illness (flu) or injury tends to be the norm directly before a player is traded.

You might want to re-think that PghSteel-43. No small coincidence that the Ducks play in Boston tonight.

I guess so.  It's just very odd that a hockey organization would use a "family matter" as the excuse.  Actually, I do not recall it every being used as the excuse.  Hence the doubt.
